The Brief

To create a fully interactive Minecraft model of Microsoft’s new global headquarters in Redmond, Washington.

The Build

Working closely with the architects of the new 500-acre campus, as well as Microsoft’s own estates team, we created a 1:1 model in Minecraft: Education Edition. Our model includes all of the 18 new buildings Microsoft are planning, which will house the 55,000 Microsoft employees who will be working there.

The Result

Our model was released to all Microsoft employees, as well as any existing Education Edition users who can now take a digital tour of the campus. We also worked with the Microsoft archives team to include a ‘Microsoft quiz’ which shows users around the vast site whilst also answering questions on all things Microsoft!
