The Brief

To create a world for the Minecraft announcement at E3, 2016, in which to demonstrate the new add-on feature for Windows10 and Pocket Edition platforms.

The Build

We designed a whole city for the Minecraft team to use as their backdrop for the E3 announcement. Modern, with elements of futurism, our deisgn borrows architecture from city landmarks from around the world such as London's Millennium Dome.

The Result

A successful backdrop to one of Minecraft's most important announcements of 2016. The Minecraft team also used the map as the setting for a minigame 'Alien Invasion' making use of the new add-on feature, which can be downloaded here. 

The city has also been used for several other presentations, such as Apple's October 2016 Keynote, where the map was used a backdrop for the launch of Minecraft's arrival to the Apple TV platform.
